As mandated by the AC.2 during its 74th session in 2021, the TIR secretariat implemented the user-friendly multilingual eTIR Portal web application to provide a mean for TIR Carnet holders to access (read-only) their own data as recorded in the International TIR Data Bank.

In addition to that, in the context of the eTIR procedure, the web platform offers a alternative option to access updated information related to the TIR transports carried out by the holder as well as a mean to submit advance TIR/amendment data to customs authorities.

The application is available to all TIR Carnet holder personnel and requires a 2 validation-step registration to create a user account, ensuring secured access to the holder TIR data as recorded in the International TIR Data Bank or in the eTIR international system.

 

With eTIR Portal, Holder staff can:

  • Access to TIR Carnet holder “authorization” status (live ITDB data).
  • Print TIR Carnet holder information document including QR code scannable by eTIR Customs mobile app.
  • Access to all national association contact information.
  • Get notification of any authorization change status or exceptions.
  • Start using the eTIR Holder mobile app.

and their administrative/super users can:

  • Consult TIR Transport live data from eTIR international system.
  • Manage “Basic/Driver” users and their capacity to access specific TIR transport data.
  • Submit advance TIR data and manage their preferred TIR data.
