Workshop on the Conformance tests on interconnections with the eTIR international System

On Friday 7 October the TIR Secretariat held a workshop with the contracting parties to the TIR Convention that have finalized the interconnection of their customs systems with the eTIR international system  including IRU. The contracting parties invited were Azerbaijan, Georgia, Pakistan, Turkey, Tunisia and Uzbekistan. The main objective of the workshop was to inform the contracting parties on the way that the conformance tests will be performed, the business scenarios prepared following the 4.3 technical specifications of eTIR as well as the next steps to be followed in order to have those tests finalized and having eTIR operations following the Annex 11 of the Convention this year.
